First, you will need to send the photos of your eyes from different angles to be analyzed by the plastic surgeon for blepharoplasty. So he or she will be able to verify that you are a suitable candidate. Your medical history and pre-existing health conditions or prior surgeries (if there is any) will be asked from you as well.
Eyelid surgery can be performed on lower and upper eyelids, or both at the same time. Your surgeon will also determine how much tissue and fat to remove based on a number of factors that you will evaluate together and discuss prior to surgery. Incisions are made where your eyelid naturally folds to ensure incision marks are undetectable after your eyes have healed.
